<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush bristle configured to uniformly and effectively emit a smell substance on a polished surface by incorporating a rod-like molding composed of a smell substance in a brush bristle material. <P>SOLUTION: In the brush bristle, the rod-like molding composed of at least one smell substance is placed in a center part of one brush bristle material. The brush bristle material and the rod-like molding composed of the smell substance have a same polished surface, thus wear of the brush bristle material and the wear of the rod-like molding composed of the smell substance are caused on a same surface, and thus smell control can be easily performed as compared with an object where powder of a smell substance is incorporated. For example, the thickness of the rod-like molding composed of the smell substance can be decided arbitrarily to be thick or thin according to a use purpose of the brush.
