<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a ball scoop-up structure of a linear motion device having a ball scoop-up end with improved strength, and reducing the level difference with a ball in a guide groove. <P>SOLUTION: A second predetermined radius R2 in circular cross section of an outer circumferential surface 15 of a ball scoop-up part 13 is made smaller than a first predetermined radius R1 in circular cross section of an inner circumferential surface 14. The center of the second predetermined radius R2 is shifted outward in the depth direction of the inner circumferential surface 14 rather than the center of the first predetermined radius. Thus, the ball scoop-up part 13 can be thicker by swelling the outer circumferential surface 15 outward in the depth direction of the inner circumferential surface 14. Further, the center of the second predetermined radius R2 in circular cross section of the outer circumferential surface 15 is shifted outward in the diameter direction crossing the depth direction of the inner circumferential surface 14 so as to be away from the circular cross section, rather than the center of the first predetermined radius R1 in circular cross section of the inner circumferential surface 14, thereby tapering the swollen part of the outer circumferential surface 15 of the ball scoop-up part 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
