<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensor capable of suppressing degradation of detection accuracy by preventing residence of water condensed on a gel member used for protecting a sensor chip from a pressure medium. <P>SOLUTION: A peripheral wall 22 of a case 20 in the shape of a bottomed cylinder has a lower wall 23 protruding by a length X1 and an upper wall 24 protruding by a length X2 larger than the length X1, and the lower wall 23 is inclined toward the upper wall 24 as it is closer to a bottom wall 21.
