<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flyback switching power supply apparatus that can implement an ideal active clamp operation by means of a compactly and inexpensively configurable control circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A flyback inverter circuit 30 is provided. A primary winding 14a of a transformer 14 is connected to a low side main switching element 16. A clamp circuit 40 comprising a clamp element 32 and clamp capacitors 34, 36 is provided. An inverter operation control circuit 18 is provided to control the main switching element 16. A clamp operation control circuit 44 is provided to control the clamp element 32. The clamp operation control circuit 44 includes: a first diode 46 directed from a middle point between the clamp capacitors 34, 36 to a gate of the clamp element 32; a second diode 48 directed from a source terminal of the clamp element 32 to the middle point between the clamp capacitors 34, 36; and a third diode directed from the gate of the clamp element 32 to a drain of the main switching element 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
