<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of recognizing a slope of a traveling road. <P>SOLUTION: In a display 20, a detailed map 100 and an instruction drawing 200 are displayed. On a traveling road figure 120 in the detailed map 100, a striped pattern 130 is displayed to show a width direction of the road. The striped pattern 130 shows more number of lines as a slope gets steeper. Also, in a slope representation area 210 of the instruction drawing 200, a lateral band 211 is displayed. The lateral band 211 indicates that the traveling road is an uphill slope by extending from the center of the slope representation area 210 in an upper direction, and also indicates a degree of the slope by becoming thicker as the slope gets steeper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
