Method of managing the transaction information of counterfeit notes using bill signature and the ATM the method applied thereto

PURPOSE: A counterfeit bill transaction data managing method using a bill signature and an ATM(Automatic Teller Machine) applying the same are provided to efficiently manage transaction data because the related transaction data matching to a suspicious bill and corresponding a counterfeit bill is rapidly and accurately provided to a teller by comparing bill signatures. CONSTITUTION: An ATM comprises a bill discriminating device(210), a counterfeit storing unit(220), a controller(230), and a database unit(240). The bill discriminating device discriminates a kind and the truth of inserted bills. The database unit stores bill signature and transaction data. The counterfeit storing unit separately stores counterfeit bills and suspicious bills. When the inserted bill is discriminated as the counterfeit bill and suspicious bill, the controller generates bill signature of the bill based on sensor data obtained in a process discriminating the kind and the truth of the inserted bills. The controller stores the related transaction data corresponding to the generated bill signature by matching with the bill signature.
