<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activated sludge treatment technique capable of making the required installation space much smaller without worries about sludge effluents and of suppressing a running cost. <P>SOLUTION: The activated sludge treatment system includes a solid-liquid separation means 2 for separating a suspension solution W1 from an aeration tank 1 into activated sludge AC and filtered water W2 and for transferring the separated activated sludge above the water surface level of the suspension solution W1, a sludge recovery means 3 for recovering the transferred activated sludge AC, a sludge returning means 4 for returning the activated sludge AC recovered by the sludge recovery means 3 to the aeration tank 1, and an excess sludge extracting means 5 for extracting part of the activated sludge AC recovered by the sludge recovery means 3 as excess activated sludge SC. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
