<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a transmitting section at a position that does not block a signal with a wind direction plate in indoor equipment in order to reliably deliver transmission information from the indoor equipment to a remote controller. <P>SOLUTION: In an air conditioner, a receiving section of the indoor equipment receives an air flow request signal which requests to direct an air flow to the remote controller, transmitted from the transmitting section of the remote controller, and, after a vertical wind direction plate is moved to a position that does not block an infrared signal transmitted from the transmitting section of the indoor equipment, the transmitting section of the indoor equipment transmits a position information request signal which requests position information of the remote controller to the receiving section of the remote controller, the receiving section of the indoor equipment receives the position information of the remote controller transmitted from the transmitting section of the remote controller in response to the position information request signal, and the vertical wind direction plate is controlled so as to direct the air flow to the remote controller based on the position information of the remote controller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
