<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for selectively decrypting and transmitting contents applied with digital copyright management. <P>SOLUTION: A digital content transmission device 200 includes a policy storage part 230 which stores information on a device allowed to decrypt contents; a policy processing part 265 which determines whether a target device to which the encrypted content is transmitted is the device allowed to decrypt contents; a decryption part 255 which decrypts the encrypted content; and a control part which performs control to decrypt and transmit the encrypted content to the target device on condition that the target device is the device allowed to decrypt the content. Consequently, when the content is uploaded to a server allowed to decrypt the content, the content is automatically decrypted and uploaded, so that even a user of a user terminal which is not provided with a program for decrypting the content can share the content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
