<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection-locked oscillator that reduces phase noise even if a multiplication factor is an arbitrary large number. <P>SOLUTION: An injection-locked oscillator having an oscillator for oscillating a signal of a self-oscillation frequency in synchronism with an injected injection signal includes: a pulse generation circuit fed with a reference signal whose frequency is a fraction of a multiplication factor of substantially the same frequency as the self-oscillation frequency and triggered by the reference signal to generate a pulse; and a pulse count multiplication circuit for generating at least one pulse different in timing from the pulse generated by the pulse generation circuit and combining the generated pulse with the pulse generated by the pulse generation circuit to output the injection signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
