<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tongue plate holding structure of a seat belt, which is reduced in costs by reducing the number of parts. <P>SOLUTION: The tongue plate holding structure 10 includes an insert part 41, an inner wall (namely, an outside inner wall 63, an inner front inside wall 77, an inner rear inside wall 78, a rib 79a of an inner sidewall 79), and a tongue touch portion 92. The insert part 41 is formed to be inserted with the tongue plate 28 in a state crossing a direction of the returning force F acting on the tongue plate 28. The inner wall is provided along the tongue plate 28 inserted from the insert part 41 and formed so that the tongue plate 28 abuts on the inner wall with the aid of the returning force F.
