摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture an outer ring 18b for achieving a structure capable of ensuring high efficiency of transmission and superior durability. <P>SOLUTION: The outer ring 18b includes: a recess 19b on the outer surface; a support shaft 10a at the center of the inner surface; and a downstream side oil supply passage 21 opened on the outer surface side at the center of this support shaft 10a. The recess 19b has a Gothic arch cross-sectional shape with a pair of side concave curves 29a and 29a at both sides in a width direction whose curvature radius of the cross-sectional shape is larger than the curvature radius of the cylindrical projecting surface. These both side concave curves 29a and 29a and the center reference surface 33 at the opening of the downstream side oil supply passage 21 are formed by plastic working where the work surface of a die is pushed against these surfaces to transfer the shape of this work surface.
