<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating congestive heart failure, renal failure, hyperpiesia and/or other cardiorenal disease using renal neuromodulation and/or renal denervation. <P>SOLUTION: In a renal neuromodulation apparatus, a catheter with a spiral distal portion is configured to be transdarmally installed in a renal artery of a subject, the spiral distal portion is configured to come into contact with an inner surface of a wall of a renal artery after arrangement, and the catheter is configured to reduce generation of neural signal in a renal nerve close to the renal artery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
