<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float type steam trap which can surely remove foreign matters adhered to a valve seat member and a float. <P>SOLUTION: An inlet 5, a valve chamber 4 and an outlet 7 are formed of a body 1 and a lid 2. There is arranged the valve seat member 3 having an L-shaped valve hole 10 which makes the lower part of the valve chamber 4 communicate with the side of the outlet 7. The float 13 for opening and closing the valve hole 10 is arranged in the valve chamber 4. An ultraviolet ray lamp attachment/detachment seat 14 is arranged at the bottom of the body 1, and an ultraviolet ray lamp 15 is detachably attached to the seat. Surfaces of the valve seat member 3 and the float 13 are coated with photocatalysts. When the foreign matters such as dust are clogged in the valve hole 10, the ultraviolet ray lamp 15 is attached as shown in Fig.1, and thus the foreign matters at tips of the float 13 and the valve seat member 3, and those at the valve hole 10 can surely be decomposed and washed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
