This method of producing an organic light-emitting diode includes: forming a reflecting anode (105) and a hole-injection layer (107) on a board (101) at first; applying a bank material onto the hole-injection layer (107) to form a bank material layer (1080); patterning the bank material layer (1080) to form a bank preparation layer (1081); forming a bank resin layer with a bank residue layer (1090) remaining on the bottom of an opening; forming a hole transport layer so as to be in contact with the bank resin layer and forming, on the hole transport layer, a light-emitting layer, an electronic transport layer, and a transparent cathode in order; and then, energizing a device structure as configured above and lowering a hole-injection property of the hole-injection layer (107).
