<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffuser for an exhaust hood of a steam turbine. <P>SOLUTION: The diffuser 110 may include a first end 160 adjacent to a trailing bucket 120 and a second end 170 downstream a steam guide 130 and adjacent to a bearing cone 140.
