<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle brake system that is capable of enhancing a degree of freedom of layout, and to provide its input device. <P>SOLUTION: The input device includes a housing 35 that has: a master cylinder 34 which extends to a cross direction of the vehicle and generates hydraulic pressure by input of operation of brake pedal 12; a stroke simulator 64 which is communicated to the master cylinder 34 while being provided in parallel with the master cylinder 34 so as to be integrated therein, and imparts operation reaction force of the brake pedal 12 in a pseudo manner to the brake operating element. The housing 35 has a constitution in which a first boss 37a, a second boss 37b, a third boss 39a and a fourth boss 39b are formed beforehand and ports are processed into the first boss 37a and the second boss 37b which are optional parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
