<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle brake system that is capable of enhancing a degree of freedom of layout, and to provide its input device. <P>SOLUTION: The input device 14 of the vehicle brake system has a brake operating element which is attached to a dashboard and operated by an operator, while being composed to a separate object from an electric brake actuator. The device includes: a master cylinder 34 which generates hydraulic pressure by input by operation of the brake operating element; and a sensor valve unit 300 attached to a parallel object 14a with stroke simulator 64 which gives the operation reaction force in a pseudo manner to the brake operating element. The parallel established object 14a has a vent hole 307 of which one end faces to inside the sensor valve unit 300, the other end faces to inside the input device attachment face of the dashboard 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
