<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas manufacturing apparatus capable of collecting produced gas via a simplified piping. <P>SOLUTION: The gas manufacturing apparatus is provided with: a photoelectric conversion section, which has a light receiving surface and its rear surface; and first and second electrodes for electrolysis, which are arranged side by side on the rear surface and respectively have surfaces contactable with the electrolyte solution. When the first and second electrodes for electrolysis are brought into contact with the electrolyte, in the first and second electrodes for electrolysis, the electrolyte is subjected to electrolysis using an electromotive force generated when the photoelectric conversion section receives light. Thereby, the first and second electrodes for electrolysis are provided to respectively generate a first gas and a second gas. The first electrode for electrolysis and the second electrode for electrolysis respectively have tilt angles different from each other between the surfaces contactable with the electrolyte and the horizontal reference surface when the light receiving surface of the photoelectric conversion section is horizontally set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
