<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprinkler head structured to be strong against impact. <P>SOLUTION: The sprinkler head includes a head body 10 having a water discharge port 12; a valve element 30 provided at the lower end or on the inside of the water discharge port 12; and a valve element support mechanism 50 supporting the valve element 30. The valve element support mechanism 50 includes a cylindrical plunger 52 having a flange part at the lower part; a thermosensitive body 55 provided at the flange part of the plunger 52; a thermosensitive plate cover 80 abutting on the thermosensitive body 55 and formed in bowl shape; and a plate-like thermosensitive plate 71 provided in the thermosensitive plate cover 80 and directly or indirectly abutting on the thermosensitive body 55. The thermosensitive plate cover 80 is provided with an opening 80b in a position to face the peripheral edge of the thermosensitive plate 71 so that a hot air current contacts the peripheral edge of the thermosensitive plate 71. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
