<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for reliably verifying contents and delivery of an electronic message such as e-mail by secret and forgery prevention documentation. <P>SOLUTION: A server receives e-mail intended to be sent or forwarded to a specified addressee, and tags a message to indicate that the message is registered by a service provider. The server then establishes direct telnet connection with an addressee's Mail User Agent (MUA), and transmits the tagged e-mail to the addressee's MUA and to the MUA of any other addressee. After receiving responses from the receiving MUA that the message has been successfully received, the server then creates an electronic receipt and forwards the electronic receipt to a message originator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
