<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate radiation light from a linear part of a beam line without increasing the beam line of a charged particle accelerator. <P>SOLUTION: In a superconducting coil device 20 used for a superconducting electromagnet that has two poles or more and installed on a beam line of a charged particle accelerator, a radiation light generation magnetic field coil 21 that can form magnetic field for generating radiation light from a beam of a charge particle is independently provided around a main magnetic field coil 12, and the radiation light generation magnetic field coil is a bipolar alternating magnetic field coil 22 or a helical dipole coil 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
