<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter for an optical adapter capable of, even if the plurality of optical adapters are vertically juxtaposed with mutually adjacent pitches narrowed, facilitating an opening operation of a shutter member. <P>SOLUTION: A shutter member 8 includes an opening-operation grip 10 that is integrally projected from the external surface toward the front substantially obliquely such that the shutter member 8 is operated to forward tilt against the energizing force of a spring to open fitting parts A and A. Optical adapters 1 are fitted in a plurality of adapter mounting holes of a panel P that enables the high-density mounting, to be adjacently juxtaposed in the vertical direction. The opening-operation grip 10 is disposed in the shutter member 8 so that the opening-operation grip 10 does not interfere with a release lever 18 for releasing the engagement, with the optical adaptor 1, of an optical connector Q that is fitted in the lower fitting parts A and A, and a latch lever 19 when the optical connector Q is fitted in the upper fitting parts A and A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
