<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, apparatus, system and medium for reading data from a tiled memory. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises: a step 305 of requesting two cache lines from a tiled memory for one tiled-X cache read request without fragmenting the tiled-X cache read request; and a step 325 of returning data associated with the two requested cache lines.
