TICKET PRINTING AND ISSUING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket printing and issuing apparatus which can improve throughput capacity and printing quality.

SOLUTION: A ticket printing and issuing apparatus for printing prescribed information on a medium which is cut off from a continuous piece of paper in a form of a roll and issuing it as a ticket has: a first motor for conveying the medium which is being conveyed while printing is not performed; a second motor of which conveyance distance in one step is shorter than that of the first motor and which conveys the medium while printing is performed; and a control part which performs control so that the first motor is driven while the medium is being conveyed and the second motor is driven while the medium is printed.
