<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that suppresses a belt surface between rollers from floating up under a condition of reduced interval between the rollers in the width direction, and thereby suppresses irregularities on the belt surface from being reduced. <P>SOLUTION: Press-up rollers 40-1, 40-2 of irregularities apply means are arranged in a longitudinal direction of a transfer material carrying belt 24 on plural stages in a conveyance direction, so as to suppress a belt surface between rollers from floating up under a condition of reduced interval between the rollers in the width direction, and thereby prevents separation failure of thin paper from a transfer belt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
