<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design including a single-chip design having one or more of other components such as an operational amplifier, a transistor, and a capacitor as part of the same chip as a magnetic sensor, and in particular, a design having a set/reset driver circuit disposed on a chip. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic-sensing device and methods of making and using thereof are disclosed. The sensing device has one or a plurality of magnetoresistive-sensing elements, one or a plurality of reorientation elements for adjusting the magnetoresistive-sensing elements, and semiconductor circuit having a driver circuit for controlling the reorientation elements.
