<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for controlling a compression ignition type internal combustion engine that can improve acceleration performance. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus (110) for controlling the compression ignition type internal combustion engine includes: a storage part (115) that stores a first map regarding an incresable value of injection amount of primary injection of a fuel when scavenging means (23, 24) executes scavenging, and a second map about an incresable value of the primary injection when a sub-injection means (22) executes sub-injection; and a control part (114) that controls the scavenging means and the sub-injection means so that either the scavenging or the sub-injection is executed based on a comparison result by calculating each of the incresable values of the injection amount of the primary injection corresponding to an operating state of the internal combustion engine from the first and second maps, and comparing the comparison values from the first and second maps when an acceleration request is made to the internal combustion engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
