PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clay-like composition (gold clay) for forming a sintered body which is not easily discolored even in the atmospheric air and has good sintering properties, and to provide a powder for a clay-like composition for forming a sintered body, a method for producing a clay-like composition for forming a sintered body, a gold sintered body, and a method for producing a gold sintered body.

SOLUTION: The clay-like composition includes a powder component including a gold-containing metal powder which contains gold and a copper-containing oxide powder which contains copper, a binder, and water. The powder component preferably includes a silver-containing metal powder which contains silver. The clay-like composition may further include at least one of fats and oils and a surfactant.
