<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manage a state of mounting of peripheral equipment on a POS terminal device. <P>SOLUTION: A POS terminal device 200 includes a main unit 210, read means 19, acquisition means 11, storage means 30, update means 29, and notification means 21 and 29. The update means 29 updates management information so as to include first identification information when the read means 19 reads the first identification information from the peripheral equipment newly connected to the main unit 210, and updates the management information so as to include second identification information when the acquisition means 11 acquires the second identification information from the peripheral equipment newly connected to the main unit 210. The notification means 21 and 29 perform notification operation for prompting a user to read the first identification information using the read means 19 when the second identification information is not acquired by the acquisition means 11 from the peripheral equipment newly connected to the main unit 210. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
