摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-pressure fuel pump control device that is capable of preventing a solenoid from being excessively heated by properly controlling the timing of the energization of the solenoid (closing of a fuel suction valve) immediately after the initiation of the start of an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: The rotational phase of an engine is discriminated on the basis of pulse signals output from a crank angle position sensor 11 and a cam angle position sensor 12. When the discrimination of the rotational phase is completed, the energization period DSOLON of the solenoid 45 is controlled according to predetermined pulse signals. Cylinder discrimination information is stored when the engine is stopped, and a predetermined period DCR is added before and after the energization period DSOLON set on the basis of the stored rotational phase information during the period between a next engine start initiation time t1 and a cylinder discrimination completion time t2.
