<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the connection with an external power source and increase the convenience in a lighting device using an electroluminescent (EL) material. <P>SOLUTION: In a lighting device having a light emitting element including an electroluminescent (EL) layer, a housing including the light emitting element therein has a terminal electrode electrically connecting with the light emitting element at a peripheral end part. The terminal electrode provided in the housing so as to be exposed to the exterior contacts with a terminal electrode of an external electrode, thereby electrically connecting an external power source with the light emitting element to supply electric power to the lighting device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
