BONE DIFFERENTIATION INHIBITOR AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a safe effective substance inhibiting the signal transduction of a bone morphogenic protein (BMP); a method for producing the substance; a microorganism for producing the substance; and a medicine that contains the substance and is used for preventing or treating a disease caused by bone metabolism abnormality such as fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva.

SOLUTION: There are provided a FKI-5513-1 substance represented by formula I, and a FKI-5513-2 substance represented by formula II; a production method including culturing a microorganism belonging to genus Trichoderma and having an ability to produce the substance; a microorganism belonging to genus Trichoderma and having an ability to produce the substance; and a medicine which contains the substance and is used for preventing or treating a disease caused by bone metabolism abnormality such as fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva.
