<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a forged RFID tag from being used. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication apparatus according to one embodiment includes radio communication means, storage means, first and second control means and processing means. The radio communication means wirelessly communicates with a wireless tag which has a first memory region storing code information and a second memory region which is readable in password designation. The storage means stores a password. The first control means reads a tag code from the first memory region of the wireless tag through the radio communication means. The second control means attempts to read the second memory region of the wireless tag without designating any password through the radio communication means and, if the second memory region cannot be read, attempts to read the second memory region of the same tag while designating the password in the storage means. When the second memory region is read by the second control means while designating the password, the processing means uses the code information read from the same tag by the first control means to execute predetermined processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
