<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power line communication system capable of alleviating influences of an impulsive noise generated suddenly in a power line serving as communication medium depending on characteristics of the impulsive noise by an existing method, and of realizing power line communication without troubles. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitter 11 is configured by a modulator 13 for carrying an LIN (Local Interconnect Network) data signal via a power line 3, a filter 14 letting a signal having a predetermined band through, and a sine wave output device (a sine wave in the figure) 15. In contrast, a receiver 12 is configured by a sine wave output device 15, a filter 16, and a demodulator 17 for demodulation.
