<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more excellently suppress image degradation due to jaggies and reduce a processing load and operation steps for image processing to suppress image degradation due to jaggies. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing unit 14 sets a 3×3 pixel area whose center is a target pixel G22, calculates values obtained by summing respective pixel values of pixels included in pixel rows arranged in the X direction and the Y direction in the 3×3 pixel area, sets an SVcount and an SHcount by specifying the numbers of steps in the X direction and the Y direction in the 3×3 pixel area based on the values obtained by summing the respective pixel values of pixels included in respective pixel rows of adjacent pixel rows, and switches whether to replace the pixel value of the target pixel based on the values of the SVcount and the SHcount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
