<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive load prediction system capable of predicting a drive load with a small arithmetic processing quantity by utilizing comparison (pattern matching) of a pattern of the drive load. <P>SOLUTION: A drive load prediction device 1 includes a history storage part 6, a section determination part 9, a pattern comparison part 10, and a pattern prediction part 11. In the history storage part 6, there is stored a drive load pattern (drive load pattern history) acquired during a past drive along a predetermined travel route. The section determination part 9 determines an object route section for which the drive load is predicted and a reference route section used as a reference for prediction thereof. The pattern comparison part 10 compares a pattern of a drive load during a new travel along the travel route (reference drive load pattern) with the drive load pattern history. The pattern prediction part 11 predicts a pattern of a drive load in the object travel section based upon a drive load pattern history most similar to the reference drive load pattern of the reference route section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
