<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a separate type television receiver to surely execute a control instruction from a peripheral apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A separate type television receiver 1 has an image display function and a part of a control processing function for image display, a tuner unit 3 has the rest control processing function for image display, and they are combined as different housings to form the separate type television receiver 1. An image display unit 2 is connected with a video digital interface 4 or a serial interface 11 to the tuner unit 3 as a route device on a control line based on specification of a video digital interface, and the same route address as that of the tuner unit 3 is set to the image display unit 2 on the control line, so that the image display unit 2 functions as a route device on the control line. Thus, in a control instruction from a peripheral apparatus 13 to the image display unit 2, a part processable by the image display unit 2 is processed by the image display unit 2, an unprocessable part is processed by the tuner unit 3, and a necessary signal is supplied to the image display unit 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
