PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marker capable of achieving a more accurate result of prediction as a marker for predicting a therapeutic effect for the chronic hepatitis C.

SOLUTION: This invention relates to the marker for predicting the therapeutic effect for the chronic hepatitis C which is oligonucleotide or polynucleotide containing a single-nucleotide polymorphism rs8113007; and the test method and test kit for predicting the therapeutic effects for the chronic hepatitis C by detecting the marker.
