The present disclosure is directed to a gear train (10). The gear train may include a first planetary gear set (12), which may include a first sun gear (S1), a first ring gear (R1), and a first carrier (C1). The gear train may also include a second planetary gear set (14), which may include a second sun gear (S2), a second ring gear (R2), and a second carrier (C2). Additionally, the gear train may include a first clutch (26) configured to selectively connect the first carrier with the second carrier, as well as a second clutch (28) configured to selectively connect the first sun gear with the second sun gear.
