Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method and apparatus for operating a device with an interactive screen, and a corresponding mobile device. Specifically, according to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a method for operating a device with an interactive screen, comprising: determining a point on an interactive screen in response to an operable component on a device being operated, a location of the operable component on the device being independent from a location of the interactive screen on the device; locating a focus in content presented on the interactive screen based upon the point determined on the interactive screen; and highlighting the focus on the interactive screen for a user of the device to activate the focus by operating the interactive screen. Other embodiments of the present invention relate to corresponding apparatuses and devices.
