<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve pedal feeling at full load points by suppressing fall of output hydraulic pressure, while preparing for re-treading in from a pedal holding state, in the case of brake operation which keeps up a brake pedal at full load points. <P>SOLUTION: An electric brake control system includes: a brake pedal 10; an electric booster 3; a master cylinder 5; cut valves 84 and 84; and an electric brake control means. The electric booster 3 converts torque of an electric motor 30 into assist thrust in an axial direction through a ball screw mechanism at brake operation time. The electric brake control means, when detecting a pedal holding state at full load points which is the assist critical point in the electric motor 30, closes a liquid passage by cut valves 84 and 84 arranged in downstream of the master cylinder 5, lowers the applied current to the electric motor 30, and returns a ball screw movable shaft of a ball screw mechanism to the direction reverse to the assist direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
