<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor treatment machine which does not cause the problem of corrosion of a metal structure in the interior even if a battery liquid spills during replenishment with purified water and keeps the shape of the machine small as a whole without damaging the operability of a battery, and is the workability of regular maintenance, and is easy to take around. <P>SOLUTION: The floor treatment machine 1 is structured so as to carry out floor surface treatment work by pressing a pad for treating a floor surface against the floor surface while rotating the pad by electric power stored in the battery 3, and has a machine body chassis 2 supporting the battery 3, a body cover 4 masking the top of the front of the battery 3, a control section 5 arranged on the top of the rear of the battery 3.
