<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger that improves heat exchanging performance and defrosting performance in case of use as a cooler. <P>SOLUTION: The dog bone type heat exchanger 1 includes: a refrigerant pipe 2 that is bent to meander so that a straight tube section and a curved tube section are alternatively successive; and a plurality of plate fins 3 where a long through-hole 3a through which the refrigerant pipe penetrates is formed, wherein the curved tube section of the refrigerant pipe 2 penetrates the through-hole 3a and the straight tube section closely adheres to the plate fins 3, and a distance between the refrigerant pipe 2 and an end edge 3d of the plate fins perpendicular to airflow is made to be approximately constant. Accordingly, efficiency of the heat exchanger 1 can be enhanced, and defrosting can be efficiently performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
