<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a fiberscope to provide perception of sufficient luminance without changing colors, and to enable the fiberscope to provide not only normal light observation but also special light observation and optical treatment. <P>SOLUTION: A bronchoscope 10 includes a light source unit 12 capable of being freely attached to/detached from an endoscope body 11. In a light source portion 40 in the light source unit 12, laser beams from three semiconductor lasers 45-47 are applied into one phosphor 48 through a first condensing lens 50. The blue laser beam with a center wavelength of 445 nm among the incident laser beams makes the phosphor 48 excite and emit white light. The excited and emitted white light is applied into a light guide 30 through a second condensing lens 51 together with the other laser beams (the blue laser beam with a center wavelength of 405 nm and the treatment beam with a center wavelength of 635 nm) applied into the phosphor 48. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
