<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can increase degrees of freedom of the arrangement of symbols on reels, while allowing transition to various game states. <P>SOLUTION: When the rotation of reels (3L, 3C, 3R) stops, a main CPU (31) of a slot machine (1) determines whether RT transition symbols are displayed along a valid line; if RT transition symbols are displayed, information about the RT transition symbols is stored in an RT information storage area of a main RAM (33).
