<p>The present invention generally relates to a novel, simple and rapid approach based on real-time PCR for genotyping of haploid or diploid organisms in a single reaction compartment. The method of the present invention is particularly useful in genotyping fungal pathogens and based on amplification reaction(s) of one or more recombination marker(s). It is accordingly an object of the present invention to provide the use of the aforementioned method in genotyping organism, as well as kits comprising the reagents to perform the same.</p>
