This use state measurement unit (201) measures the use state of the surgical instrument tip (200) when powered by the positioning arm unit (100). As a result of measurement by the use state measurement unit (201), operation of the surgical instrument is locked when the surgical instrument tip (200) has reached the end of operational life.
