The present invention belongs to the technique field of information management, and relates to a method for expanding the information quantity of the print content characterized by the Optical Identification (OID) code. The method includes: extracting multiple OID codes from an OID code set to comprise a first OID code subset; using the OID codes in the first OID code subset to characterize the name information of the print; extracting multiple OID codes from the OID code set to comprise a second OID code subset; using the OID codes in the second OID code subset to characterize the content information of the print; the name information is the catalogue of the content information, and the first OID code subset and the second OID code subset is disjoint. The present invention expands the information quantity of the print content characterized by the OID code, and thus the information quantity of the print content can be characterized is greatly increased. |
