<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable platform fence that minimizes the installation space thereof and keeps high maintainability. <P>SOLUTION: Two support and guide structures, two driving mechanism sections, and a control device 190 are arranged at different heights inside a door pocket section 100. Specifically, a right door guide section 120 for supporting and guiding a right platform door 20R and a left door guide section 130 for supporting and guiding a left platform door 20L are installed at substantially the same height from the installation surface and are arranged so that the both are looked to overlap on the front surface in the view from a maintenance opening 103 opening to the home side.
